    Daddy

Please see update at bottom of post after you read this.

All my hugs and all my kisses
all my dreams and all my wishes
    they are for you
    they are for you.
All the love that's in my heart
I want to bring to where you are.
    I love you Daddy!

I crawled up into Daddy's lap and threw my arms around his neck and hugged Him with everything I had and kissed His face.  I could see Him look at me with the warmest smile and sensed He was pleased with me and what I've been doing. "You're doing such a good job, you're not falling short, although I know you feel that way at times but that's because you don't know your heart the way I do.  I see all of your heart therefore My judgment is true, righteous and holy.  You are doing great and one day you will see all the plans, all the dreams I have for you come to pass, but in the meantime you must trust Me.  You must trust My heart, you must trust My love, you must trust My mercy, you must trust My grace.
I could feel Him hugging me, pulling me into Himself as He did, then letting me go just like a little girl to run and play and I could feel how much it touched His heart for me to hug Him and kiss Him.  That's when I wrote the song above.
I live for these times with Him.  Days that I don't see or can't see for whatever reason are many at times.  I am not sure why that is, just that it is.  But His presence is what keeps me alive, keeps me pressing forward.  I begin to weep ....."My child don't cry, let Me wipe the tears from your eyes.  For one day you will see all that was meant to be will be just as I planned though at times it seems all you can see is the enemies hand.  But know even when you can't see Me or hear Me or feel Me I am there with you.  You are never out of My sight,  you are always on My mind.  I have such wonderful things in store for you......

Update:   At the time of this writing I had no idea that just two months following this I would be faced with stage 2 breast cancer. I also had no idea of just how precious this particular time with Him would come to be to me nor the strength I would draw from it. But He did. I remember kind of wondering what was coming as I thought about what He had said to me that day, specifically the part about trusting Him.  I could just feel He was preparing me. Turns out I was right.

I had initially been diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2009 following a routine mammogram, however, at the time I didn't have health insurance nor the financial resources to do anything except pray.   For the following six months I fought to overcome a spirit of fear that was relentless in trying to make me come into agreement with the enemies plans to end my life as images of leaving my two girls by death were paraded through my mind night after night.  Six months following I had a visitation from the Lord and at that time He told me He would heal me when I least expected it. I would not let go of my promise.  Like most of us do I had my idea of how this healing would happen and every morning upon waking I would always check to see if the mass which at the time was the size of a lima bean was gone only to find it still there.  Despite the ongoing existence of it I had peace beyond understanding and never doubted I would live and not die. In June of 2013 the Lord led me to go to work for Michael's. and was provided health insurance that I would need a year and a half later as by this time following another mammogram it had become clear to me that my healing would come through way of surgery.  In January of 2014 I had surgery to remove the mass that was now the size of a golf ball.  I was pronounced cancer free two months later without the need of chemo or radiation. Even the oncologist assigned to me was amazed that I had lived for five years without it spreading.  All the cancer was contained in my breast and removed. Not even one lymph node was affected. I am without a doubt a walking miracle.

    Pain

I would have lost heart unless I had believed I would see
the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

Pain- an inevitable part of life.  What I've learned is that hiding it from God is not.  What I do with my pain will depend on what I believe God thinks about it.  The devil wants to make us believe God is mad at us or disapponted with us because we hurt.  It's a lie to keep us from turning to the only one who can heal our pain.  Our pain is not the result of not loving God enough or not having enough faith, our pain is a result of being human and living in a fallen world full of other humans. That we hurt isn't a measure of our spirituality like the enemy wants us to believe. We don't need to be ashamed of our pain or feel guilty for it but I acknowledge that unfortunately too often this is what is conveyed in some churches however unintentional and this is the reason so many people have learned to put on their 'It's Sunday I am going to church' mask'. God is not put off by our pain or our disappontment that some things in our lives didn't turn out the way we expected.  To be sure He only is the way to healing and wholeness.

The enemy wants so much to sabotage any expression of Gods image in our life.  It is the image of God he hates us for.  If he can conceal it under pain, guilt and shame he will.  The only way he can is through deception, making us think God feels about us the way we feel about ourselves and our pain. What a lie! The key is to guard our heart so we don't allow our pain to cause our view of God and His heart to be anything other than what lines up with the truth revealed in His word, regardless of external circumstances.  Our circumstances are not the truth and neither is how we feel in the midst of them.

I have found God is the safest place  to express what I'm really feeling, He doesn't love us any less for it.  We think that He does because we've been conditioned to love ourselves less for it or to love others less for it, but God's love is based on who He is, not what we are which is why it never changes, ever. God is love. His love is eternal because He is eternal. Imagine....there has never been a time when God did not exist, He has always been.

    Happy Birthday Jesus!

    Immanuel
Born of a virgin, sent from above
Laid in a manger, the Son of God's love
To a people in darkness He freed long ago
Bet even with this they still didn’t know
He was the Messiah that was promised to come
Yet they doubted and questioned if He was the One.
He came in humility, meekness and love
Not what they expected at the birth of God's Son
They didn’t understand the reflection they saw
Of the heart of the Father in the face of His Son.
God's glory disguised in frail human flesh
to show us Gods love is why He was sent.
They looked for a hero who was great in their eyes
To wipe away tears and take away sighs
Groaning under the weight of their sin
Not yet understanding by faith we come in
To the kingdom of God prepared long ago
That will first reign in hearts before it will show
God kept His word and fulfilled what He said
For Jesus is the seed that bruised satans head
He restored mans authority to rule and to reign
He took on our guilt and freed us from shame
We again walk with Father in the cool of the day
Through Jesus the Truth the Life and the Way
His name is Immanuel, God dwelling with man
In frail human flesh for this was His plan
To reconcile to himself all those who receive
The gift of His Son and chose to believe.
Jesus is the Messiah God promised would come
The radiance of God’s glory and only begotten Son.

    Worthy

Jesus you are worthy of a holy life,
    worthy of my sacrifice,
    worthy of all I am,
    all I can give,
    all of my heart,
    this life I live
    You alone are worthy........

I am sorry it took me so long to realize that.  Holy Spirit help me live a life that is wholly pleasing and honorable to Him the King of Kings.  Help me to quit wallowing in the pig pen, you can't wallow in the pig pen for even a minute without getting pig slop on you, yet Jesus comes and wipes the slop off our face and kisses us, not because we are clean but because He knows how grieved we are in our hearts that we're not.  New garments white and clean are given us to wear.  Garments fit for the King who has called us to His chambers....as we walk He proudly puts us on display before the powers and principalities of darkness, those that despised us, mocked us, scorned us and did everything they could to disqualify us to become His not understanding that the one thing they can't stand against, can't come against, and can't overcome, they helped supply.....His blood.  The blood of Christ himself offered through the eternal Spirit that forever perfects those who answer the call and accept the invitation of the Divine love of the ages who has paid for our sins and opened up the way to His heart.

He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.  For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him;  as far as the east is from the west so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  As a father has compassion on his children so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him for he knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:10-14

    Happy Resurrection Day!!!

Colossians 1:13-18  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  He is the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation.  For by Him all tings were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.  All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church,k who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Revelation 1:18 Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.  I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.  Amen.  And I have the keys of death and Hades.

Oh my, how can anyone not be excited about celebrating ‘Easter’! While that is the term used to identify the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus it is a word actually derived from a false god of fertility named Ishtar, however, what we call today is not nearly as important as what it is we are celebrating. There are an infinite amount of things I could write about on a day like today but what I have really been pondering lately is the fact that Jesus suffered the judgment that should have been ours.

Isaiah 53:5-6 Surely He has born our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.  but He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Have you ever really contemplated what Jesus experienced in laying down His life for us, going beyond the cross to the period of time between Him giving up His spirit and Him being raised from the dead? Jesus himself said he would be three days and nights in the heart of the earth which I personally believe from scripture was the location of hell at that time. It isn't clear from the scripture how long after giving up His spirit He actually experienced what an unbeliever would who dies without God. He had seen from before the foundation of the world what awaited him once he was physically dead, being delivered to him who had the power of death, that is the devil. We don’t realize that in hell their is no manifestation of God's goodness or His love to any degree, for an unbeliever that even while on earth they have the benefit of enjoying since the earth was created for man to live on. I realized this was the war Jesus had to win over His flesh in the garden of Gethsemane, not just fear of physical death on the cross, but the experience of being separated from and rejected by God the Father. He willingly chose to be the sacrifice and suffer the judgment of God on our behalf. God made him who knew not sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God through him.  He spoiled principalities and powers, triumphing over them by the cross. He is the firstborn among many brethren which is all of those who choose to receive Him as our Savior and Lord.  Now that ought to make you smile:)

    Scripture Ref: Colossians 2:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 8:29;

    Spoils Of War

Now I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and He who sat on him was called Faithful and True and in righteousness He judges and makes war.  His eyes were like a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns.  He had a name written that no one knew except himself.  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood and His name is called the word of God, and the armies of heaven clothed in fine linen white and clean followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He should strike the nations and He himself will rule them with a rod of iron.,  He himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God and He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written—
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
    Revelation 19:11-16

I could feel His eyes of fire penetrating, piercing,  burning into my heart----His love for me and for others pouring in through the rays of light going into my heart understanding all that He gave He gave for His love was so fierce nothing would stand in His way of rescuing me, rescuing us, setting us free not only from sin that carried us into captivity but all of its guilt and all of its shame that kept us chained…..

He breaks every fetter, He breaks every chain
By His blood He's given us His name
    No more, No more,
No more sorrow, no more pain
No more guilt,  no more shame
For I have ransomed you from the power of the grave
I ransomed you from darkness and all of its shame
I  freed you from death, you’ll never be the same
You're no longer the one who is called unloved
For I have seated you with Me above
    Above all power and principality
    All rule and dominion
    You will dwell with me
In the light of My countenance
    clothed in My glory.

The riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints....the souls of men, these are the spoils of His war.

    Songs: Faithful and Doves Eyes

    God's Discipline cont...

This is kind of a continuation of my previous post as I have continued to meditate on what the Lord showed me.

"Anything that denies Jesus' right to our heart is an idol which He will confront."---Frances Frangipane

Rarely if not ever will you find an issue with an idol that you don’t also find a wrong perception of God. In other words, we make Him to be a God in our own image in order to justify the idol we don’t want Him confronting in the first place.

It is amazing how the Lord can use one little thing to expose a wrong condition of heart we didn’t even know we had.  We are masters at deceiving ourselves in order to justify our disobedience, yet hardship or suffering is never an excuse to disobey the Lord. I have to admit that I forget that sometimes.
One thing we must remember, when the Lord deals with us about our financial affairs,  it is never about the money, it is always about what is going on in our heart because that is where the real issue is.  When we get things in our heart right, the rest takes care of itself. God does not need our money but He does want to know He can trust us with it. It’s harder to see a wrong condition of heart where money is concerned if you’re faithful with your tithes and offerings. Just because we don’t steal or handle money in a way deemed criminal doesn’t mean it’s all good either. Remember the tree in the garden of Eden was a tree of the knowledge of both good and evil.  We may reject the evil easy enough, but good isn’t good enough when it comes to the things of God. It’s either God’s way, which is from the Tree of Life and therefore produces life. I never cease to be amazed at the junk God can expose in me from time to time.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, Psalm 94:12 (Amplified )

    His Rest

Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

I don’t know about you, but every now and then I feel like Jesus put this in the word just for me. Obviously God knows our propensity to forget our relationship with Him is founded completely on the blood of Jesus.  It isn’t something we intend to do it just happens, especially when we are going through a dark season with little or no understanding and perhaps think we missed it somewhere. This is where I have been for too long in my opinion.  The dark season is bad enough but unbearable when we lose sight of His grace in the process.  I don’t know anyone who ‘walks’ with God who doesn’t experience these times and yet despite having been through them before I always seem to end up laboring rather than resting which will really wear you out.
This morning as I listened to a song titled ‘Jesus Paid It All’, the reality of its message brought me back to Him and to His rest. I took my inability to understand and figure out what is going on and why as a sign that my love for Him is less than it should be (first of all it depends on His love for us, not the other way around) that if I love Him like I should and if I am being the Christian I am supposed to be I wouldn’t have periods where I can’t seem to find my way or don’t understand the circumstances I am in or more what it is God wants me ‘to do’ in them. That is usually where I get into trouble, when I think that I can ‘do’ something to fix it. When the only thing I need to do is trust Gods character and nature in the face of circumstances that seem contrary to what I know to be the truth.
There is a verse in an old hymn that I have thought much about lately that says, “When darkness veils his lovely face I rest in his unchanging grace.” That right there says it all. People who walk with God do so because they trust Him, not because everything is ‘hunky dory’ all the time, but because even when it’s not they trust His heart.

    Immanuel, God With Us

While driving and listening to a Christmas song I was overwhelmed by the presence of the Lord and the reality of what Christmas is really all about. Immanuel, God with us…..this is the true meaning of Christmas and what has given me more joy this year than ever before.

God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  I know we have heard it a jillion times and maybe that’s the reason the truth of it doesn’t really sink in like it should.  He likes, no loves our presence. It’s hard to imagine sometimes I know, but that is the truth. He did what had to be done to satisfy the demands of His justice in order to ‘be with us’. I thought about what Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished”! I know that’s another holiday, but I cried as I wondered why we keep trying to add to that. God wants our fellowship and Jesus made that possible. We make that impossible when we keep adding to what God has already done. We have all sinned and fallen short of His glory and are justified freely by His grace.

I read a scripture in Acts and the part of judging yourself unworthy really spoke to me.
Acts 14:46-47 Certain Jews in Antioch were opposing the gospel the Apostle Paul was preaching and in response Paul’s words were,”It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold we turn to the Gentiles.

We will undoubtedly judge ourselves unworthy anytime we add to what God has already done in sending His son Jesus into the world to be our Savior. God wants your fellowship; don’t deny Him by believing the lie that Jesus isn’t enough. Maybe you don’t think you judge yourself unworthy of eternal life, but enjoying God’s presence is part of eternal life now, not just after we die.

John 17:3 Jesus said,” Now this is eternal life: that they know you the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” To know is to recognize, perceive, feel, even see and be aware of.

Christmas can be a very difficult time for a lot of people and I have been one of them, but no matter what physical circumstances we may be experiencing, nothing can alter the eternal truth that Jesus is the greatest gift we can ever receive, for God demonstrated His love for us and His desire to be with us even now, today.

    Grace

I am a perfect example of why Jesus had to come to save us. No matter how hard I try I can’t be good enough, neither can I be consistent in my love for God, even though I always think I will. It’s funny how much we think we are OK when we are on the mountain and forget how much grace God has given us.  Grace and grace alone is what saved me and what keeps me saved, nothing else. The whole of who I am begins with God it ends with God and is totally and completely sustained by God.  We have no idea just how much of nothing we are. The more I realize this the more blessed I am because when I find myself in a place where I feel like I am failing and feel surrounded by darkness I don’t wait until I feel better to come to Him, I just come like I am because there’s nothing in me that can save me in the first place.

We love Him because He first loved us. It is imperative that we never forget that. No matter how spiritual we are or think we are, as humans we are affected by the things around us, sometimes more than at other times. Thank God our righteousness depends on Jesus. If it were possible for us to always be consistent in our love for God and keeping His law, Jesus would not have come in the first place. We must beware lest after beginning with the Spirit we try to maintain our spiritual life by the flesh.

I am crucified with Christ; never the less I live,  yet not I but Christ lives in me and the life  I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness  could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing.
    Galatians 2:20

    The Truth You Know

I opened up my email with a message that I had been tagged in a photo, on Facebook of course. Being one who doesn’t consider myself very photogenic I always look with trepidation never knowing what someone else thought was “cute”. This time was different, as I looked at myself I was overwhelmed as I realized how differently I saw myself from the way I used to, I’m not talking so much about my outward appearance but more about the worth and value of the person I am inside, which made me very aware of how much the knowledge of God’s love for me has changed me. It isn’t the truth alone that makes you free, but the truth you know.  I also realized that while there are many areas where satan has lost the battle it doesn’t mean he quit fighting.  He just moves into some other area that hasn't yet been permeated with grace, where the law is still in operation in order to put us, all of us, under his accusations and condemnation.

I was reminded that Jesus said, “nothing will be impossible to him who believes”. In that moment that particular truth spoke to me in a way it never had before. You see we must believe all  that  God has revealed in His word concerning us, how much He loves us, , how His thoughts towards us are for good and not for evil and who He has created us to be.  If the enemy can get us to doubt on any level the truth about Gods heart towards us he knows he has the upper hand. The only weapon that will defeat the enemy is The Truth, because the only weapon he really has to use against us is deception.

    God Is Love

This has been weighing in my spirit all week, that the greatest manifestation of Gods glory through us is His love. It is what He is and is the motivating force behind everything He does.

The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lords unconditional, unfailing love through those who belong to Him. I honestly believe this is the highest and greatest manifestation of Gods glory on the earth and the one to which He is bringing the church before the return of Christ. Jesus said, it is by your love that they will know you are my disciples. Not by your gifts, not by your material possessions, not by your money, your cars, or even the size of your church, but by our love. Wow!

The heavens declare the glory of God. Without everything in the universe being placed and orchestrated to such precision as scientists are now finding out, the existence of man upon the earth would be impossible. Yes the heavens declare His unfathomable love for us without question.

Isaiah 60:1-2 says, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen on you.

The greater the measure of the knowledge of Gods love for us the greater the measure of His glory will be seen. God is love and he who dwells in love dwells in God and God in Him. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

God will fill the earth with the knowledge of His love through His church which is the body of Christ.

    Scripture Ref: Psalm 19:1; John 3:16; John 13:35; 1 John 4:16

    God's Risk

Is there any difference between a 16 year old telling her daddy “If you love me you will buy me this car”, and us telling God, “If you love me you will do _______? You know there are times God has to take a risk in order to bring about in our hearts what is necessary for us to become what He has created us to be. The risk I am talking of is the risk of losing our love forever or even temporarily if we allow a situation to cause us to be deceived about Him and His love for us.

Do you ever find your self in circumstances that are such an assault on your heart that it just wants to retreat, wants to hide? That you desire even if only briefly, to just survive? Are there times when it seems so dark around you and you just feel forgotten and forsaken by the Lord? These are the times I am referring to when I say He has to take the risk of losing us. Often it is in order to bring about what is an answer to a prayer we have prayed in our desire to be what He has created us to be. Yet He loves us enough to take the risk.

Lately my heart has felt that way, being assaulted by life, walking through circumstances that don’t make any sense, don’t line up with any formula or principle that I have adhered to in my understanding of Christianity so far. The unfortunate thing is that when we allow our heart to retreat because of feeling unsafe or threatened it doesn’t just retreat from the outside world, it retreats from the very one that created it in the first place. Have you ever known someone who allowed that to happen during a severe test or trial only to find they never let their heart come back out? They embraced the lies the enemy whispered in their ear about God’s heart and His love towards them allowing the circumstances to be the proof that the lie was actually true. That is the risk God takes every time He steps back and allows some things in our lives with the intention of bringing about a higher good in us, one of them being that we would be drawn closer and be more intimate with Him in the process. It is unfortunate that the outcome isn’t always what He desires.

I have to be honest and say that is really where I have existed myself recently. I would read things that I have written in the past about Him and His love and feel as though I was reading something that was written by someone else. Even though I wrote it, the truth is that for a season that just was not my reality in my heart. We often question how God could allow some things to happen if He really loves us, me included. I have held on to the experience of knowing that the problem isn’t my situation, it isn’t God, but my perception and perspective on it. That is the real problem with allowing our heart to retreat during a test or trial, it causes our perception and our perspective to be formed more by what we feel and understand than what we know to be true based on the Word and the past experiences we have had with Him. The good thing is He doesn’t leave us there, unless of course we continue to reject the hand He extends to us to lead us out of the cave we have crawled into. Hopefully we will respond by allowing Him to bring our heart back out where we can experience His love we knew before we allowed a situation or circumstance to cause us to retreat in the first place. I don’t know about you but I for one am exceedingly glad that my God isn’t afraid of the dark nor is He afraid of allowing himself to look foolish if necessary to rescue my heart from it either, all one has to do is look at Calvary to see that.

    God's Love

God could have left David on a hillside keeping his daddy's sheep, but he had something better. God could have left him as a singer of psalms and a composer of hymns, but God had something better. God could have contented David with being a musician and expert on animal husbandry, but God had something better.

God loved David so much that God wanted to develop David's full potential. In order to do that, he had to put David into positions where he was challenged to many choices and decisions. Sometimes he chose right and sometimes he chose wrong, but it was in the choosing that he grew beyond his present capacity...... He trusted a God who loved him and could see in him what he hadn't seen in himself, a God who loved him too much to let him settle for less. Excerpt from an article by Bishop Vashti McKenzie.

Have you ever looked back and surveyed how far the Lord has brought you? If so, have you also realized He did it with your cooperation? After reading the article this excerpt came from, I was overwhelmed with the sense of God’s love in the midst of what has been several months of very trying times for me and my family. The thought that the Lord “will see to it” is what came to me, not just in the sense of providing which is often what we associate that phrase with, but that He “will see to it” in the sense of allowing whatever is necessary in order for us to come into being what He has created us to be, not because He is mad at us but because He loves us. However, most of the time when we are in the midst of the test or trial the thought that we are in this because God loves us isn’t usually what comes to mind. It is unfortunate that the “modern day” version of the gospel has left little room for God acting out of love to allow anything bad to happen to us. Often times the problem is that we focus too much on us rather than what He wants to accomplish through us on behalf of someone else. Look at the life of Jesus, and we know He loved him.

I thought about different situations and circumstances I have been in over the years, some brought about by the plan of the enemy but more often than not they were brought about by decisions I made because I didn’t trust the Lord enough to follow His decision for me. Interestingly enough I have also seen that He didn’t leave me there to fend for myself in the consequences of those decisions, He is too merciful for that. He has also demonstrated His mercy towards me in seeing to it that whatever was lost as a result of those decisions or circumstances He has a way of bringing back by allowing things to happen in such a way that I am given the opportunity to make the right decision. The right decision that I refer to is the one whereby His will is accomplished and the desires of our heart are fulfilled. I often find that the desires of my heart, the ones that line up with His word, His nature, His character unfortunately require changes in the natural I am uncomfortable with. Have you noticed the same thing? You know that what you desire is right but sometimes the resolve to do what is necessary to bring that about isn’t what it needs to be. So what does He do? He sees to it that the changes that are necessary are made by the circumstances He allows to come into our lives or by using the ones that come as a result of wrong decisions we have made. You know He doesn’t waste anything, talk about recycling!

I suppose some people would not see that as a good thing but knowing His heart has helped me more and more to be able to see things differently than I used to. Realizing that He does this actually makes me feel loved, cared for and safe, but I have to choose that. Let’s face it, sometimes we face situations that will cause us to question God’s love for us and His concern for us when the truth is that it is out of His love for us that He allows certain things to happen.

You know sometimes we can be our own worst enemy, He knows that too. Aren’t you glad He doesn’t side with our enemies even when it is us? So, if you are one of the many people facing a circumstance or situation that seems to scream at you that God doesn’t love you or care about you or this “thing” wouldn’t be going on. My suggestion based on past experience is to get in a quiet place and ask Him to give you His perspective on what you are going through, you might be quite surprised at how differently you see things. The worst possible consequence of any circumstance or situation is for our perception of Him and His love for us to be altered to any degree from the truth. Could it be that sometimes the problem is that our perception of love is jaded?

    Happy Valentines Day

    A Valentine

This is a story about the making of a Valentine.
Not just any Valentine, but a Valentine to end all time.
A Valentine that would truly be the expression of the reality
    of true love.
You see this is a story about the Valentine sent to us from God above.
This Valentine wasn’t sent by chance, nor was it by happenstance.
But with the greatest thought and care, our Father God set out to prepare
    the perfect Valentine.
One that would cry from the depths of His heart “I want you to be Mine”!
God knew all along that it wasn’t going to be easy,
because He made the Serpent and knew that he was sleazy.
He knew that He would pay the price of giving the ultimate sacrifice
    to make this Valentine.
“But”, He said, “it will be worth it all to have a love that is truly Divine”.
“Son”, He said, “Although you’re mine you have been promised to another.
So to get you from here to there I will need a suitable mother.
One that is a descendant from the Royal line,
one that will accept a seed that is Divine.
At first you may not understand the workings of my holy plan
in sending you to earth, or the need for you to experience a fleshly birth.
But in time you will see, this that has been done
concerning you my Son is to make you a Valentine.
And in the end you will look at the Church and say”,
““Father, can you believe she’s mine””!
“Because of the blood that you will shed, a pure and holy seed will be bred,
and she will be your Bride.
But just as it was with Adam, she must be taken from your side.
For you see, she will be flesh of your flesh and bone of your bone
And it will be that you two shall be one.
So it will be a Valentine for all eternity, arranged and secured in every part,
for this is truly from My heart.
    Will you be My Valentine?
Will you show the world My love?
Can they see My Son from above growing inside of you?
If you are My Valentine, then you too are of the Royal line
and the seed you carry is Divine.
You too may not always understand the workings of My holy plan.
But one day you will see, that I am yours and you are Mine
and that makes us one for eternity”!
